Aircraft Parts Painter C - 3rd shift

JOB SUMMARY:
Prepare and spray paint parts and assemblies. May be required to work with higher grade painters while in training.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepares surfaces and uses spray gun or other methods to apply primer or other painted surfaces to small parts and assemblies on a routine or repetitive basis.
- Selects and adjusts spray gun in accordance with instructions, performs masking and sanding duties as required prior to painting and checks own work for coverage.
- Performs dip painting as required. May perform stencil operations.
- Mixes paint according to specifications.
- Adjusts and cleans spray gun and equipment or other company tools checked out for performing job assignments with appropriate solvants.
- Responsible only for own work and quality of own work.
- Performs other related duties as required.
EDUCATION:
Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification.
EXPERIENCE:
No experience required.
