We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic to join our team. As an Aircraft Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing aircraft systems and components. Your expertise will contribute to the safe and efficient operation of our customer's aircraft. The ideal candidate for this position is someone experienced with general aviation aircraft repairs and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Inspection and repair of airframe, power plants, aircraft communication, navigation equipment and associated components in accordance with Kubick Aviation Services, Inc. manuals, bulletins, orders, and FAA requirements.
-Ensure that the appropriate tagging is attached to all parts removed from an aircraft.
- Be constantly alert for defective, worn, or failed parts, as well as, safe working conditions.
- Conduct tests and inspections to ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs)
- Responsible to sign-off on completed work on applicable work forms and records.
- Responsible for keeping work area clean, safe, and orderly at all times.
- Process necessary paperwork in a timely fashion.
What you need to succeed in this role:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in general aviation maintenance is required
- Must possess an A&P license.
- Must possess keen troubleshooting skills in airframe, powerplant, electric and hydraulic systems
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- A professional manner at all times with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must possess basic hand tools and toolbox.
- Possess sufficient vision to perform the functions of the job
- Possess an impeccable attendance record, an exceptional work ethic and exemplary time management skills.
- Must be able to work efficiently on their own as this position is unsupervised.
