Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on aircraft to ensure they are in safe and working condition
- Diagnose and troubleshoot aircraft systems, including avionics, airframe, and powerplant
- Repair or replace faulty components using appropriate tools and equipment
- Follow federal aviation regulations and company procedures to ensure compliance and safety
- Document all maintenance activities accurately and thoroughly in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Collaborate with other technicians and mechanics to complete complex repairs or modifications
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to prevent future issues
- Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and attend training sessions as required
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, including avionics, airframe, and powerplant
- Familiarity with federal aviation regulations (FARs) and industry standards
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for Aircraft Maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and blueprints
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for working with complex machinery
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding environments
