We are currently seeking a Mid-level Air Quality Engineer to support a wide variety of projects. We will consider applicants on the East Coast. The preferred candidate will have extensive field and office experience working as a task manager leading complex field programs, preparing planning documents and preparing reports for Air Quality projects as well as environmental characterization. The preferred candidate will have a desire to advance their career as a task leader.
As a member of this team, you would contribute to CDM Smith's mission by:
Performing Air Quality impact evaluations for incorporation into Environmental Impact Reports (CEQA) and Environmental Impact Statements (NEPA)
Preparing project-level air emissions inventories of greenhouse gases, as well as criteria and hazardous air pollutants for municipal utilities, power plants, industrial, landfills and transportation clients.
Conducting air dispersion modeling and risk assessments
Preparing air permit applications for permits to construct (PSD, NSR), and permits to operate (Title V) regulated facilities
Preparing technical documents including annual GHG reports and NESHAP/NSPS compliance reports for Title V reporting.
Conducting regulatory reviews and compliance/strategy evaluations
Conducting air pollution control technology evaluations
