Our team has a past performance in a diverse range of programs including those for Data Management, Cloud and Infrastructure, Software Development and Enterprise Applications.
We are currently seeking a AI/ML Technical SETA to support a program with the National Institute of Health.
Duties:
- Provide technical guidance to external teams working on large-scale data projects
- Ensure robust and scalable data solutions are implemented, with a strong focus on security and compliance
- Analyze scientific and technical data wit respect to novelty, rigor, and robustness
- Evaluate and advise on cloud-based technologies and architectures
- Under the leadership of a PM build and maintain detailed program plans
- Assist in writing and reviewing of technical documents and solicitations
Experience:
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, ML or a related field
- Demonstrated theoretical and hands-on experience in AI and ML
- Minimum of 2 years of post-doctoral training or industry experience in roles such as AI Research Scientist, ML Engineer, or Data Scientist specialized in AI/ML (5 years of experience preferred)
- Proficiency with training one or more models such as large language models transformer based models, state space models, and variational autoencoders
- At least two first author publication in the fields described above
- Experience with synthetic data generation, augmentation, and analysis is a plus
- Proficiency with cloud based large data warehousing solutions, data lakes, and ETL processes in a cloud environment at a terabyte or petabyte scale is a plus
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- PowerPoint and Excel proficiency
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Willingness to work in a high-paced environment
- Intellectual curiosity and interest in expanding knowledge to new scientific areas
- Ability and willingness to brainstorm with other colleagues to find alternative solutions to scientific/technical problems
- Must be willing to quickly adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
