The Role
You will play a pivotal role in developing AI experiences across HP business products, especially capitalizing on new generative AI apps and next-generation hardware acceleration. You will work with business stakeholders and engineers to define core platform products as well as critical features. This is a broad role with many facets, including engaging startups, designing user research, and working closely with diverse stakeholders across the product lifecycle to deliver breakthrough innovation.
- Entrepreneurial competitive start-up mindset with a sense of urgency, combined with an ability to structure, plan, and document work.
- Experience launching a v1 product in hardware or software
- Experience navigating a complex landscape of teams and applications (e.g. R&D, sales, support, marketing)
- Beyond capturing "requirements" you can proactively imagine AI solutions and opportunities, are able to build a concise business case, and can identify the constraints and solutions through difficult challenges
- Collaborate with cross-functional product development teams to ensure that the products and solutions are delivered per experience objectives
- Consistently perform competitive analysis against top industry players to ensure our lineup is differentiated and competitive
- Although you are not expected to code, some prior industry hands-on coding experience in data science or software engineering is highly valued
- Knowledge of Generative AI and large language models and comfort in studying and evaluating emerging technologies
- Skilled in meeting facilitation and meeting management. You drive meetings and reach out to stakeholders across the organization to accomplish your objective
- Versed in standard agile methodologies and tools like Azure DevOps or JIRA
- Aptitude for crisp and clear written documentation, using for example Confluence, with a critical ability to simplify
Education and Experience Required:
- College degree in Marketing/Business/Technical
Knowledge and Skills:
- Highly knowledgeable in commercial computing
- 7 years experience in product marketing fundamentals
