SCRUM Master Sr Advisor

HOW A SCRUM MASTER SR ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Coordinates and monitors the scrum process from initiation through delivery.
• Plans and facilitates scrum activities, including sprint planning, daily stand up, demos, board reviews, and retrospectives.
• Maintains JIRA and other information radiators for the teams
• Collaborates with clients or end users to understand business requirements
• Acts as a liaison between development teams and product management, ensuring that appropriate project process is made.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Education: Certified Scrum Master, Bachelors in related field.
• Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience
• Required Technical Skills: Ability to work in fast paced environment.
• Expertise in managing JIRA, Confluence
  Able to create JIRA dashboards and aggregate information in custom made Confluence pages.
  Manages the successful completion of all tasks in assigned program area including technical work.
  Develops, reviews, and approves plans, schedules, consulting agreements and other program documents.
  Servant-leader who monitors and improves the processes of Agile Scrum Methodology
  Demonstrated ability to coach and help everyone on the team to understand Scrum; this includes:
  o Scheduling regular interaction with the product owner and delivery team
  o Communicating with external stakeholders that the project team interacts with. In the role of a coach,
  Experienced Scrum master and documented ability assisting the product owner to understand and better manage the backlog and plan for sprints, as well as explain the process to the delivery team.
  Experience in improving the team's Scrum process by removing any obstacles in the way, measured by velocity.
  Able to provide clear communication of the vision, goals and product backlog items to development team
  Experience leading Scrum teams to produce clear and concise product backlog items
  Experience facilitating Scrum events as requested
  Strong written and oral communication skills
  Ensures compliance with relevant corporate and government policies and standards.
  Participates in special projects as required.
