JOB SUMMARY/OVERVIEW
An Agile Coach is a facilitator for a development team that uses the scrum framework and is responsible for ensuring that the team adheres to the scrum principles and practices and helps the team to improve its process. This role acts as a coach for the team and works to remove any impediments that may be hindering the team's progress and is responsible for helping the team to deliver high-quality products in a timely and efficient manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitate the daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective meetings.
- Help in the team to adhere to the scrum framework and principles.
- Remove any impediments that may be hindering the team's progress.
- Act as a coach for the team and helping them to improve their process.
- Ensure that the team is focused on delivering high-quality products in a timely and efficient manner.
- Communicate with stakeholders and other teams to coordinate efforts and ensure that everyone is on the same page
- Monitor the team's progress and performance, and helping the team to continuously improve.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates):
- Certified Scrum Master or equivalent required
Experience:
- Typically, 2+ years of direct experience with Scrum Master, or similar position, as your primary role.
- Typically, 4+ years of product or project development experience, or 3 years of project development experience on an Agile Team or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Leadership: A Scrum Master must be able to guide and motivate the team and help them work together effectively.
- Communication: A Scrum Master must be able to communicate effectively with the team, stakeholders, and other stakeholders.
- Facilitation: A Scrum Master must be able to facilitate discussions and meetings, and help the team make decisions.
- Conflict resolution: A Scrum Master must be able to help the team resolve conflicts and address any issues that may arise.
- Technical knowledge: A Scrum Master should have a good understanding of the technical aspects of the project and be able to help the team with any technical challenges that may arise.
- Adaptability: A Scrum Master must be able to adapt to changing circumstances and help the team adjust to new situations.
- Scope: Scrum master must be able to work effectively across 3-4 agile teams, driving both agile practice, unblocking stories and tasks, and driving improvements through agile metrics.

The salary range for this role is $73,800 to $132,840. The candidate's final salary offer will be based on the candidate's skills, education, work location and experience.
A candidate's compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet's corporate bonus plan.
