Aggregates Truck Driver (W)

TRUCK DRIVER - Pennsuco Aggregates Plant

Titan America has an opening for a Truck Driver in the Aggregates Division. This wage non-exempt position is assigned to the Quarry Department and will report to the Quarry Superintendent.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a pre-shift inspection on equipment.

• Fill out all required documentation and submit on time.

• Move materials to Primary system as main activity and move stockpile materials for cement and aggregates divisions.

• Respectfully communicate with the Primary Tower Operator, Loader Operators, lead man, and Quarry Manager.

• Maintain equipment operated clean and safe. Report all safety concerns.

• Perform utility tasks such as shoveling, water hosing, and others when the primary or truck is down and as required.

• Perform safety inspections and actively participate in the safety committees.

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of material specifications, preferred.

• Basic knowledge of equipment operation, preferred.

• Welding & cutting experience required.

• Maintain a current Florida Driver’s License and a clean Motor Vehicle Record.

• Ability to work well with others.

• Capable of working in confined spaces.

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

• Able to walk, kneel crouch, crawl, talk and hear.

• Safety-minded.

• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Able to walk, kneel crouch, crawl, talk and hear.

Shift:

Rotating Shifts. Must be able to work weekends and overtime as necessary.
