Agent in Charge: Operations

As an Operations AIC, you'll have a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our cannabis dispensary with a specific focus on our Dispensary operations. This involves overseeing daily Dispensary operations, managing a team of budtenders, and ensuring full compliance with local and state regulations. Operations Responsibilities:

• Cultivate relationships with vendors and ensure accurate turn rate ordering (60-day) with inventory.
• Ensure product availability for all upcoming promotions within inventory.
• Communicate upcoming product arrivals to all team members, highlighting new items and items back in stock.
• Maintain menu accuracy, including lineage, category, and availability, by setting up promotions in advance with daily accuracy, completing monthly supply orders, and ensuring compliance with signage regulations.
• On a weekly basis, review competitors' menus to assess pricing and product selection.
• Conduct a monthly security audit and ensure compliance with vendor logs, addressing maintenance issues including HVAC, window cleanings, remodels, upgrades, locks, and doors.
• Ensure the daily completion of opening and closing checklists, verifying the accuracy and up-to-date status of alarm codes and key fobs.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, acting as a knowledgeable and approachable resource.
• Answer questions and provide information about cannabis products, making recommendations based on customer preferences, needs, and desired effects.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods.
• Understand the differences between various strains (indica, sativa, hybrid) and their effects; educate customers on proper dosage and consumption methods.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Train staff on compliance procedures, including age verification and product handling.
• Oversee inventory levels and maintain accurate records of product quantities; monitor product quality and report any issues to the appropriate authorities.
• Coordinate with suppliers to replenish stock and ensure a diverse product selection; ensure products are properly labeled and stored.
• Complete and submit required reports and documentation in accordance with State and company regulations.
• Collaborate with management and marketing teams to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of budtenders to deliver outstanding customer service; foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and employee growth.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dispensary.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience, preferably in cannabis is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, heavily regulated environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
• Flexibility to work required evenings, weekends, and holidays in a must.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.67 - $22.49 per hour
