Afternoon Part Time Authorizations Coordinator (WC/Billing Dept.)

Busy Orthopedic Surgery office in South Orange County has a Part Time opening (afternoons) for an Authorizations Coordinator in the Work Comp / Billing Department. Must be very reliable, detail oriented, have great customer service skills, administrative skills, and a minimum of one year prior medical experience. Bilingual/ Spanish speaking a plus. Responsibilities include: Management of incoming request for authorization, timely RFA submission, RFA status follow up, and other work comp duties as needed. Greeting patients by phone, scheduling appointments, insurance verification, entering demographic information and other related clerical duties. Assist Billing Manager with miscellaneous tasks and projects.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
