Hampton Manor of Taylor is looking for compassionate, caring, and friendly caregivers to provide our seniors with the quality care they require. This is a new construction assisted living facility in the beginning stages, this allows there to be potential for career growth!

Duties and responsibilities include:
- Assist with all of the care needs a resident might require including, but not limited to, toileting, ambulation, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, escorting, and transferring from place to place.
- Have good communication skills,
- Maintain confidentiality with resident and fellow employee’s information.
- Appropriate phone etiquette.
- Notifies Resident Care Coordinator/Health and Wellness Director of resident changes of condition.
- Will assist in the dining room during meal times including, but not limited to, set up, take meal/beverage orders, serve, bus tables.
- Will assist with activities when required and/or be responsible for getting the residents to schedule activities.
- Will be responsible for getting the resident ready and to the lobby for scheduled appointments.
- Will be aware of what constitutes a change of condition and report to Resident Care Coordinator/Health and Wellness Director/Executive Director immediately.
- Maintain the cleanliness of employee break room.
- Delivers and re-stocks the residents’ incontinence supplies.
- Capable of washing, drying, folding and returning laundry to the correct resident. Collects and disposes trash in designated receptacles.
- Has knowledge of, and can demonstrate technique, or can learn how to assist with a gait belt, sit to stand lift, transfer board, oxygen equipment, catheter, specimen, transfer pole, trapeze, wheelchair, scale, and other equipment as directed by the Resident Care Coordinator/Health and Wellness Director.
- Capable of taking accurate vital signs and weight.
- Aware of and can perform assigned housekeeping duties including, but not limited to, dusting, vacuuming, polishing, wiping down handrails, chairs, and table, picking up, clean bathrooms, re-stock toilet and paper towels and mop.
- Maintains general cleanliness of resident’s apartment (clean commodes, hi-rise toilet seats).
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to easily lift and carry 50 lbs. Must be able to stand, walk, stoop and/or bend for a period of up to eight hours with breaks as provided for in employee handbook.
Other requirements
- Has familiarity and willingness to work with elderly population. Previous experience preferred, but not necessary.
- High school graduate preferred. Preferred proficiency in English. Attends in-services monthly required for position. Receives and maintains First Aid and CPR certification.
We offer every other weekend off and PTO after 90 days with paid sick time
