```Job Summary:
Are you a proactive and organized individual with a passion for education and making learning fun? We are currently seeking a dedicated Aftercare Director to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the schedules and duties of 2-3 aftercare teachers and ensuring a safe and enriching environment for our students.
Your responsibilities will include planning and developing the learning environment, consulting with parents and teachers to meet student needs, and organizing age-appropriate activities and field trips. Additionally, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of students during playground time, classroom activities, and field trips. A CDL license is required for driving the bus, but we are willing to provide training for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee the responsibilities and schedules for 2-3 aftercare teachers
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure the well-being of students
- Keep students safe on the playground, classroom, and on field trips
- Plan age-appropriate activities – inside and outside games, homework time, and student led projects
- Interact with parents each day at pick up and share information as needed
- Plan field trips for all camp days including spring break, and summer camp
- Drive the bus (must have or agree to obtain a CDL license)
- Provide educational guidance and support to students
- Manage and train a small team of professional educators
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
Qualifications:
- Winning and positive attitude
- AA degree in education or related field (BA preferred)
- Experience working with school-age children
- Ability to manage up to 40 students and 3 teachers
- Strong classroom management skills
- Be a lifelong learner
- Prior experience working as part of a team
- Be willing to work until 5:00 pm each day.
- Experience working in education administration or a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
