Michigan's premier home furnishings retailer has an immediate opening for a Full-TimeAfter Delivery Customer Service Representative. This position provides Customer Service and clerical support for the stores. It also assists customers in resolving their questions, concerns, and issues on purchases.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Schedule service techs-order parts-replacements
- Assist customers in resolving services on delivered goods
- Microsoft Office computer proficiency
- Answer incoming telephone calls; direct callers to the appropriate person
- Recording details of comments, inquiries, complaints, and actions taken
- Process customer invoices and payments on purchases
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Strong customer orientation with excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Responding to customer inquiries promptly
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Be organized and neat
- Multi-task
- Team player
Requirements
Applicants will be required to undergo and pass a background screening, a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of one (1) year of office Customer Service or related retail sales experience, furniture/design knowledge preferred
- Training provided
- Hours to be discussed with the manager during phone consultation
