Aerospace Tig Welder- 1St Shift, Eastford Ct

We are currently seeking an Aerospace TIG Welder (1st Shift) at our Eastford, CT Facility.

1st Shift: 7am-3:30pm

Pursuit Aerospace is a contract manufacturer of high quality formed, precision machined and fabricated aerospace parts.

In this Welder responsibilities & activities will include:

• Set up and operate the equipment which the operator has received formal approval to operate
• Weld product per customer requirements
• Responsible for receiving first piece acceptance from quality department
• Work with Sheet Metal Mechanics on development and process improvements
• Must be proficient in TIG welding, metals used: steel, aluminum, titanium, nickel, etc
  • Deburring
  • Sheet Metal fabrication
  • Distortion Control
  • Interpass Cleaning
  • Precise control overheat input
  • Clean weld application
  • Porosity And Improper Fusion of TIG Welds

A successful candidate will be able to do the following:

• Able to stay on task during required hours
• Must be self-motivated and dependable
• Must have good blueprint interpretation skills
• Welding experience required
• Aerospace welding experience preferred
