Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Early CareerAeronautical Engineer (Flight Test). In this role, you will be supporting testing of the F-35B and F-35C aircraft as a FTCE within the F-35 Integrated Test Force. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of flight parameters and interaction of complex systems. In this role, you will be acting as a primary liaison between aircraft maintenance and engineering, responsible for communicating and coordinating the aircraft test configuration requirements required to support scheduled ground and Flight Test activities for the F-35B and F-35C aircraft. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of aircraft systems, maintenance procedures as well as the use of complex databases.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering or related STEM degree

Desired Skills:
Schematics, Engineering documentation, reading/interpretation and their use during troubleshooting
  • Experience working with complex databases such as Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS)
  • Experience working in an aircraft production or operations environment
  • Experience working with Aircraft Systems and/or Maintenance/Modification Procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
