Job Summary: Threshold Giving is seeking highly motivated and outgoing individuals to join our Nonprofit Advocacy and Fundraising Teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with potential donors and promoting our nonprofit partners through street and private site outreach. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with potential members through different canvassing assignments
- Promote our nonprofit partner organizations such as Brady and Oxfam and answer any questions potential donors may have
- Meet daily and weekly quotas for donor signups
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and other reporting
- Attend regular team meetings and training sessions
Requirements:
- Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation
- Ability to work early evenings and Saturdays
- Willingness to use public transportation/carpool to events
Physical Demands:
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to carry and transport materials
- Ability to navigate stairs and uneven terrain
Pay and Benefits:
We offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package, including access to professional counseling, legal & financial services, insurance after 90 days, paid time off, and opportunities for advancement within the company.
Advocates can earn $20 an hour plus fundraising commissions or forego commissions for a $25 flat hourly rate.
