Orthopedic Practice Seeks Clinical Nurse Triage Specialist
We're seeking a Clinical Nurse Triage Specialist to join our team, providing exceptional care and guidance to patients and families. Essential Functions:
- Conduct phone triage, offering current and accurate advice to patients and families in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with clinic staff/providers to develop personalized care plans for patients.
- Assist providers with clinical procedures as needed.
- Update Electronic Medical Records (EMR) with relevant information.
- Develop educational materials and present topics to patients, families, and peers.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and exceptional relations.
- Respond to inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely manner.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing time effectively and multitasking.
- Participate in site-specific and clinic-wide initiatives.
- Contribute to team goals and results.
- Attend and actively participate in huddles and meetings.
Secondary Functions:
- Participate in training new employees.
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Self-motivation and efficiency in a hybrid work environment.
- Proficiency in writing SOAP notes.
- Clinical knowledge and teaching skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Experience with computer hardware/software.
- Fluency in English.

Education/Experience:
- Current RN or LPN License in Oregon.
- Degree from an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience, preferably in triage.
- Current CPR certification.
- Understanding of clinic workflow.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (Athena Practice a plus).
