Location: New York City
Work Environment: Full time, Remote (NYC)
Compensation: $60,000 - 70,000 + commission

Dance Magazine is in need of two Advertising Sales Executives, one with a focus on advertisers in the luxury goods market, and one with a focus on the advertisers of high-end residential real estate market. The successful candidates will be responsible for driving revenue growth by selling advertising space within Dance Magazine and its related digital properties (digital and social channels, events, and sister brands).
To succeed, the successful candidates must execute on a cohesive sales and account management strategy; build solid contacts and successful business relationships; as well as demonstrate strong business acumen and professionalism. These positions require self-motivated sales professionals with strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
These candidates will come with relevant industry contacts with luxury consumer brands and/or with advertisers of high-end residential real estate and their agencies, and pre-existing relationships, and be required to attend a minimum of eight sales calls per week. Candidates will be expected to prospect, sell, manage and close business; break new categories and accounts; and properly represent the organization at industry functions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Research and cold call prospective advertisers (national and regional).
- Present advertising solutions and packages to prospective advertisers, and follow up via phone calls and emails to close deals.
- Build relationships with prospective and current accounts/stakeholders.
- Effectively articulate and communicate how our brands match with appropriate advertising partners.
- Develop advertising proposals.
- Manage and track Advertising Sales/client data
- Meet/exceed sales goals as established.
