It offers seven diverse restaurants, over 1600 of the latest slot games, 50 table games, a Poker Room, award-winning steakhouse, live entertainment, event space, and stunning back country views. Additionally, we are about to introduce a brand-new luxury hotel offering 200 rooms that also includes full-service spa and salon along with a rooftop pool deck – all opening in the early part of 2025.

Position Summary:

The Advertising Coordinator is responsible for serving as a support system for Advertising, Public Relations, Media Strategy, Creative Services, Group Sales and Community Relations. In this role, you’ll be part of a fun, fast-paced and dynamic environment and we need an achiever in this role who can coordinate multiple operational and branding deliverables. As the Advertising Coordinator you will demonstrate and exemplify Jamul Casino’s mission and values by embodying the acronym F.I.R.S.T. (Fun, Integrity, Respect, Service, Team) and all company policies and standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

  • Provide friendly, fast, and helpful guest service to all guests and team members.
  • Coordinate with Assistant Advertising Manager to develop and execute in-depth knowledge of product/packages and media efforts to better communicate them to the public and increase attendance/business.
  • Produce materials that communicate upcoming and promotional efforts for the guests, associates, and regulatory agencies.
  • Support the efforts and projects of the Assistant Advertising Manager, Director of Advertising and VP of Marketing as requested.
  • Coordinate and support the Assistant Advertising Manager to properly fulfill all printed material requirements for promotions, special events, entertainment, and VIP parties.
  • Coordinate and track with agency and all vendors all charges and payments relating to all jobs in a timely manner.
  • Effectively manage purchasing policies.
  • Maintain company website and strive for 100% accuracy.
  • Assist with internal social media channels.
  • Coordinate and maintain all on-property signage.
  • Coordinate and track, as needed, groups responding to special events and VIP party events.
  • Work directly with advertising agency, media agency, digital agency, vendors, and internal departments as needed.
  • Manage and coordinate all marketing support services to include advertising, public relations, and internal departments.
  • Coordinate internal support related to each special event, promotion, or entertainment for all appropriate departments.
  • Organize and maintain files of all Marketing Programs to include artwork, analysis, and rules.
  • Coordinate with Graphic Artists to properly fulfill all printed material requirements for promotions, special events, entertainment, and VIP parties.
  • Analyze the effectiveness and success of promotions, special events, entertainment, and VIP parties.
  •  Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures.
  • Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, guests, and the public during companywide events.
  • Conduct research and report on competition through routine competitive shop.
  • Meet company appearance and grooming requirements.
  • Meet attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, department and company policies.
  • Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris, and litter.
  • Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.

  • 1+ years’ experience in effectively presenting and answering questions to groups, management, and guests
  • 1+ years’ experience in working with external vendors is preferred -
  • Must have experience in working with technical procedures, systems, and software’s such as Monday.com, Canva, SWS or similar
  • Must have flexibility to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate. 
  • Associate degree or higher education
  • Must be able to acquire and maintain appropriate gaming license
