AdventHealth Medical Group is looking for a dynamic and quality focusedHospitalist APPto join our team of hospitalists at our highly rated, 164 bed community Hospital in Deland, FL.
Conveniently located between the cities of Orlando and Daytona Beach, our team members have the option to live locally and enjoy the local funky flare that the city of Deland has to offer or drive an easy 30-minute commute from one of our coastal beach towns or the northern suburbs of Orlando.
The AdventHealth Deland team consists of (8) day physicians, (2) nocturnists, and (4) APP’s. Our hospitalists work in teams rotating a 7 on /7 off schedule.
Collectively, the AdventHealth Medical Group Hospitalists cover 5 hospitals in Volusia and Lake counties, allowing opportunities for collegial cross-coverage and additional shift pick-ups with generous compensation at campuses other than the primary campus.
Schedule:
- 7 on / 7 off
- Shift hours: 6 AM- 6 PM
- 182 shifts per year
Requirements of the position include:
- Master’s degree in nursing (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) studies
- Board Certification (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner)
- Active FL medical license (or ability to secure active, unrestricted licensure)
- DEA License required (or ability to obtain)
- Team player with patient-first mindset
- Excellent communication skills
Practice Overview
The practice is a part of AdventHealth Medical Group. Our hospitalist team is a substantial percentage of our Medical Group currently with over 80 providers. AHMG is a sister organization of AdventHealth which employs 350+ physicians in 27 individual service lines.
