The Advanced Ticket Seller role is a part time position that will be reporting directly to the Ticket Operations Manager.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide overall Ticket Operations, Ticket Services and event hospitality assistance as needed.
  • Provide superior customer service to Oakland A's patrons in person at the A's Box Office, and anywhere the seller is in uniform on property.
  • Demonstrate a complete understanding of the Coliseum seating configuration, pricing structure, amenities, and fan policies in order to service all patron needs.
  • Develop proficiency with all digital ticketing initiatives, including ProVenue, My A's Tickets and MLB.com Ballpark App.
  • Represent the organization in a professional manner, consistent with company philosophies and culture
  • Other duties as assigned

Additional duties may include:
  • Support for A's season ticket holders by selling additional season tickets and parking passes, processing ticket exchanges, and troubleshooting all season ticket orders as needed.
  • Answer incoming phone calls as needed on both game day and non-game day in a professional and polite manner with the ability to answer all ticket and fan related questions.
  • Work with, and maintain season, group, and individual ticket accounts for the Oakland A's.

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Ability to perform work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Candidates must be enthusiastic with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work flexible hour including nights, weekends and holidays

In adherence to California's Pay Transparency Act (SB 1162), the base hourly rate for this role is $16.50, consistent with California's minimum wage requirement.
