Our rapidly growing technology company is hiring! For over two decades, Advanced Powder Products, Inc. (APP) has been developing and manufacturing complex net-shape components using metal injection molding (MIM) and 3D metal printing technologies for the medical, industrial and defense industries. Our proprietary technologies, ProtoMIM and Printalloy position APP as the first choice for some of the largest original equipment manufacturers (OEM) in the country. We design, engineer and produce metal components that improve the performance of our clients medical devices, hand tools, defense, and sporting goods.

Job Characteristics:

• Must be motivated to develop and implement technology from design to experimental.
• Strong interest in physically installing new equipment and working with advanced materials.
• Imaginative, creative, and aptitude to solve problems.
• Hands-on engineering, with technical ability and mechanical aptitude.
• Strong commitment to tasks completed on time in a faster-than-average pace environment.
• Able to show strong follow-through from start to finish on delegated tasks and assignments.
• Above average attention to details, concern for the exact correctness of work.
• Ability to communicate accurately and diligently.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to make unknown equipment operational with no previously known knowledge of technology.
• Ability to work independently and drive implementation.
• Ability to research, apply, and make manufacturable new technologies and methods from various sources (journal articles, internet, manuals, and books)
• Understanding of testing and analysis theory, with the ability to analyze large amounts of data.
• Well-organized, safety-conscious, and accountable for actions and performance
• Ability to travel to vendors, customers, etc.
• Must be highly safety conscious.
• Work performed in a manufacturing environment.
• Follow the standards of ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 International Standards

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Minitab
• Experience with Solidworks and MasterCam or equivalent modeling software
• Team player who can also work independently and thrives in a fast-paced environment
