Responsibilities
- Administer medications, including injections, as prescribed by the doctor
- Perform procedures such as suturing and IV insertion
- Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their overall condition
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans - Educate patients and their families on proper healthcare practices
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
- Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure patient safety
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical advancements and best practices
Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Washington.
- Experience working in ambulatory surgery centers or assisted living facilities is preferred
- Proficiency in administering injections, suturing, and IV insertion
- Strong knowledge of patient care principles and practices
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle emergency situations calmly
