Form of workThe Advanced Practice Provider (APP) provides a comprehensive health assessment and evaluation for patients in the emergency department under the collaborative agreement with the supervising physician. This position provides health care services to patients including assessing, diagnosing, prescribing, treating, and educating patients. This position works closely with physicians and other clinicians in a comprehensive approach to patient care. The APP orders and interprets appropriate tests to facilitate care in the emergency setting. The APP manages emergency and critical patient situations and leads the team during resuscitation events.
