We are looking for an Adult Day Services Activities Coordinator to join our team! This individual will be responsible for our Adult Day Activity program in Manchester, NH!

The Adult Day Services Activities Coordinator will develop and implement a program of person-centered activities, geared towards stimulating peer interaction, promoting constructive use of individual and group time, and motivating participants to function at their maximum level of independence.
The Activities Coordinator will both address and work to help improve the skills of individuals attending the Adult Day program in the areas of social isolation, strength and balance, loneliness, mental health, and cognition.
Essential responsibilities include:
- Understand and implement programming to individually and collectively impact the social determinants of health outcomes, including addressing work in collaboration with center managers to provide leadership in design and implementation of the day-to-day activity schedule
- Maintain a professional atmosphere within the programs, ensuring programs, environment and communication are age appropriate, culturally competent, respectful and engaging at all times
- Implement innovative and evidenced based programming while incorporating individual and group interests
- Responsible for developing and implementing intergenerational programming
- Schedule community trips and seek opportunities for community partnerships, arranging presenters, and securing transportation for community events
- Responsible for creating the entertainment schedule and handling yearly contracts of the professional entertainers
- Shop for program supplies and ensure staff have appropriate tools necessary to provide daily person-centered programming
- Participate in routine staff meetings, family meetings and other meetings as indicated
- Transport clients as needed
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field and three (3) years' experience in activity programming and in the aging field or related field.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Compensation: $30,000 annual salary, based on experience.
Hours: Part-time, 24 hours, 3 days/week.
- Sign-on bonus is paid out in two installments, half after 3 months and 6 months.
