Match-Making Magic:

You'll review adoption applications with a fair and loving eye, guiding hopeful adopters to their ideal feline friend.

Happy Homes Connection:

Your knack for clear and timely communication will shine as you ensure every kitty’s unique story is shared with potential families. You'll be the bridge between foster volunteers and adopters, getting information on the cat’s personality, coaching on how to get high-quality pictures, writing creative biographies, and setting up meet-and-greets that could lead to a match made in heaven.

Adoption Extraordinaire:

From the first “hello” to the joyous “welcome home,” you'll guide adopters through the process ensuring the right cat gets into the right home. You'll handle everything - from the online adoption process to medical record accuracy, making every adoption a smooth and rewarding experience with no surprises.

Paws and Reflect:

After the adoption, you'll be there to support and celebrate the new family, making sure our furry friends stay in their loving homes with insightful troubleshooting and advice.

Team Cat’s Whiskers:

Keep the whole team in the loop with regular updates on the journey, from meet-and-greet to adoption – you're the scriptwriter for these happy tales.

Creative Whisker:

Work your magic with marketing to showcase our cats in the most charming light on social media, our website, and at special adoption events.

Feline Ambassador:

Your love and knowledge of cats is the heart of this role, sprinkled with a dash of humor. You’ll need your communication superpowers, organizational prowess, and a knack for staying cool under pressure.

This isn’t just a job - it’s a chance to be a hero in the story of countless cats and their new families. You'll report to our Foster/Adoption Manager, dedicating 40 hours a week, Tuesday through Saturday, to making tails wag with joy. Are you ready to be the catalyst for countless purrs?

About Us:

Forgotten Felines of Sonoma County has been around for 34 years. Our goal of spaying every unowned cat in Sonoma County may be lofty, but we believe in a county where every cat has a chance to thrive, isn’t competing for resources, is not seen as a nuisance and has the best possible chance for a contented life.

Our focus on innovative, first-of-its-kind spay neuter programs that use predictive modeling, data capture and analysis, along with the blood, sweat and tears of a dedicated staff and volunteer force that significantly slows the rate of cats born in the wild, on our streets and on properties where they may not be welcome will continue until we live in a county where there are no more homeless cats.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
