To assist with the coordination of the recruitment of transfer students and to review and adjudicate transfer and adult applicants for admissions. The position advises, counsels, and connects perspective students with a variety of resources on campus including Financial Aid, Housing, and advising.

Position Description:

The position advises, counsels, and connects perspective students with a variety of resources on campus including Financial Aid, Housing, and advising.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as University's Project Graduate college advocate, including work with our Adult Returner population. Coordinate degree checks with candidates, advice students on routes to degrees, serves as liaison between student and departments.
- Advise, counsel, and inform prospective students, parents and others seeking information about the University. Serve as counselor on call several times per month.
- Assist with review and admission decisions of application, readmitted students, petition students, and continuing studies students.
- Assist in the management of electronic recruitment and publication tools including transfer website and social networking sites for transfer and adults.
- Assist with outreach and recruitment efforts to perspective transfer students in Kentucky and Southern Indiana.
- Coordinate and participate in both off-campus and on-campus programs designed to introduce prospective students to the campus and other facets of the University.
- Assist with the Osher Reentry scholarship, including maintaining frequent contact with applicants regarding missing materials, deadlines, and other important information.
- Assist with pre-evaluation of transcripts for perspective transfer applicants.
