- Manage a recruitment territory; visiting high schools and/or community colleges, attending college fairs, and participating in workshops/panels both in-person and virtually throughout the year. Serve as liaison to develop relationships with high school counselors, alumni, and community-based organizations to enhance the network and brand of TU. Provide recruitment support as needed for office-wide recruitment events & outreach efforts. Utilize data and enrollment trends to develop a recruitment and outreach strategy for their territory and complete a territory report and analysis to assist with recruitment & outreach efforts.Counsel prospective, admitted, and enrolled undergraduate students on admission to TU. Represent TU by providing excellent customer service to all students and families via phone, chat, and email, as well as via in-person and virtual meetings. Understand admissions policies and requirements and serve as a resource to ensure success within the Admissions Recruitment Team. Conduct information presentations both on- and off-campus throughout the year.Evaluate undergraduate student applications for admission and scholarship awards to Towson University through a holistic review process.Complete general admissions duties including, but not limited to, customer service, applicant processing, holistic review, on-campus events, special projects, campus committees, and any other duties as assigned as needed to meet the enrollment needs and the goals of the university.

- Bachelors Degree Excellent communication skillsThe ability to present to small and large groups of people in various types of venues.The successful candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic, interested in and attentive to cross-cultural communication, and someone who actively contributes to the office welfare in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Must possess strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently. The familiarity and use of technology is critical to the success of this position and the overall operation of the Office of University Admissions.
- Prior experience within a college admissions office, such as an orientation leader or tour guide, is helpful but not required. Must have the ability to travel independently and on short notice.
