Admissions Coordinator
Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm (One Weekend Every 3 Weeks)
Holy Family Senior Living, Inc. (HFSL) is seeking a motivated self-starter to be apart of our Admissions and Marketing Department. We are a 208-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in historic Bethlehem, PA.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Type, file, and distribute correspondence as directed by supervisor.
2. Ensure tasks are completed in accordance with facility policies and procedures (i.e. computer data entry, filing of admission paperwork, admission file completion, intake referral management.)
3. Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required- including computer information, Admission agreements, and state required forms such as the 401’s.
4. Complete all pre-admission and admission forms accurately. Obtain required resident, responsible party, and staff signatures on all admission forms as designated by department director.
5. Follow-up on inquiries by conducting tours of the facility, answering phone calls, and providing families, vendors and potential residents with brochures and information.
6. Perform all duties as directed by the Director of Admissions.
7. Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent resident and staff information.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma required, some post secondary education preferred.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in admissions office.
- Strong written, verbal and communication skills.
- Excellent computer and data entry skills.
- Ability to work productively and independently, employing good problem solving skills.
- Highly organized with ability to meet targeted deadlines for data submission.
- Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, physicians, family members, visitors, government agencies and the general public.
- Strong customer service skills required.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
