Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students ,providing information and guidance throughout the admissions process.
- Conduct informational sessions and campus tours to showcase the institution's programs, facilities, and resources.
- Assist students with the application process, including reviewing applications, transcripts, and other required documents.
- Provide academic advising to prospective students, helping them select appropriate courses and programs based on their interests and goals.
- Utilize Learning Management System software to manage student records and track admissions progress.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop recruitment strategies and materials.
- Represent the institution at college fairs, high school visits, and other recruitment events.
- Build relationships with high school counselors, community organizations, and other stakeholders to promote the institution's programs and opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, educational policies, and best practices in admissions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Some college preferred.
- Extensive experience working with students in an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of academic advising principles and practices.
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with diverse populations, including students, parents, faculty, and staff.
- Demonstrated ability to meet recruitment goals and targets.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
