Job description

With our Agency's mission to support the recovery of people with mental illnesses, we provide a complete array of medical and support services for children, adults, and families throughout South Carolina.
This position is located at the Department of Mental Health, Generations of Monetta, 77 Cato Road, Monetta, SC 29105
This position will be eligible for a Supplemental Assignment Pay of 10% of base salary.
As the Program Coordinator II (Licensed Administrator) for Generations of Monetta, working under direct supervision of the Program Manager, you will continually develop the CRCF program, to include supervision and implementation of daily programs and services. Coordinates hiring and supervision of 24-hour, seven days per week on site to aid level staff. All services and documentation will be provided in compliance with SCDMH, Corporate Compliance, DHHS, CMS and DHEC Standards.
Responsibilities also include but not limited to:
  • Develops, implements, coordinates and supervise the DMH CRCF.
  • Ensures program adheres to all DMH, DHEC, CMS and DHHS standards.
  • Oversees all operations of the facility in a cost-effective method, remaining in Budget, while providing for the health and well-being of the residents and promoting their recovery.
  • Delegates workload assignments.
  • Develops staff schedule.
  • Trains staff as necessary.
  • Coaches staff in meeting program goals and objectives.
  • Recruits new staff.
  • Ensures staff participate in regularly scheduled meetings to review program issues and client progress.
  • Provides feedback to individual staff regarding productivity and quality of client services in accordance with DHEC, DHHS and CMS standards.
  • Adheres to Corporate Compliance issues of the center and follow policies and procedures in regard to Corporate Compliance.
  • Completes various reports relevant to the progress of residents.
  • Reviews similar reports completed by program staff and ensures reports are submitted in a timely manner.
  • Performs duties relevant to supervisory on-call assignments.

State Requirements: A bachelor's degree and relevant program experience.
Agency Requirements:A bachelor's degree in the social sciences and four (4) years of experience in rehabilitative services, with at least six (6) months of which were in a CRCF setting. Must have an active CRCFA license from the SC Board of Long Term Health Care.

The selected candidate must have extensive knowledge of psychopathology and patient management within a psychiatric setting. Thorough knowledge of methods, principles and practices of clinical counseling and education services. Must have the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in-writing. Ability to drive a state vehicle, as travel may be required. Possess a valid driver's license.
