Duties
- Serves as the Administrative Assistant to the Business and Recreation Division Chief and supports the facility managers within the Business and Recreation Division (BRD) through a variety of tasks related to the organization.
- Answers phones, schedules staff call meetings, records minutes for required meetings, and ensures proper distribution of all Family and MWR correspondence. Supports the Division Chief as required.
- Serves as the primary POC for BRD staff training requirements. Coordinates dates for training for BRD staff, schedules conference rooms, gathers training supplies as necessary and inputs and tracks training actions into the tracking system.
- Meets with every new staff member to ensure proper initial on-boarding, training, and induction to the IMCOM Academy. Provides reports to leadership as required.
- Provides support with volunteer coordination for the Bataan Memorial Death March special event to include recruiting and scheduling, updating volunteer job descriptions, ordering t-shirts,
- Tracking volunteer registrations on the website as well as answering questions from participants and volunteers that are sent to the Bataan inbox.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Work experience directly related to the duties described above.
- Ability to type 40 words per minute.
Best Qualifications:
- At least one (1) year experience serving as an Administrative Assistant (or equivalent).
- Experience and demonstrated proficiency working with Microsoft Office applications (i.e. MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook Excel).

- Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
- Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.
- Incentives will not be paid.
- Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
