ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
(65%) Staff Training & Support
- Serves as market's subject matter expert on assigned administrative areas or processes
- Develops standardized content and trains the new administrative team members on procedures and best practices, and develops additional training materials, or hands-on training for existing administrative groups or individuals as needed
- Monitors center and market performance metrics, providing regular and timely updates to applicable team members
- Ensures comprehensive knowledge of company policies and procedures by all administrative associates
- Communicates regularly to administrative associates regarding appropriate messaging for patients
- Reviews daily errors list from corporate, researching and correcting issues or working with team members to correct, identifies trends, and provides needed coaching to team
- Partners with department leads and supervisors on training and QA for their teams
- Takes a leadership role in staff meetings
- Creates and updates market's training resources as needed
- Provides back-up coverage for administrative staff as requested by supervisor for “breaks, PTO, and other coverage needs
(25%) Collaboration and Process Improvement
- Collaborates with corporate teams, including Revenue Cycle Management and Operations Improvement, and local market leadership on training and process improvement initiatives
- Monitors metrics to analyze trends and process effectiveness
- Reports regularly to market leadership team on initiatives, to ensure progress is being made and goals are met
(10%) Completes other tasks as assigned
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years medical administrative experience
- Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Proficient with using computer systems and typing
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medical insurance
- Valid driver's license and proof of current auto insurance
