The Information Networking Institute (INI) at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) educates and develops engineers through technical, interdisciplinary master's degree programs in Information Networking, security and mobile and IoT engineering that incorporate business and policy perspectives. What began as a small fledgling program has evolved over the past three decades to become an integral part of Carnegie Mellon's College of Engineering and home to over 300 students each year from across the world.

We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with strong customer service and collaborative mindset for the INI Administrative Coordinator position. The ideal candidate for this role will be detail-oriented and organized and will have experience with verifying financial transactions and managing competing priorities.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Performing general administrative duties for the INI, including meeting and travel arrangements for faculty and staff.
- Assisting with the planning of INI events, including agenda development, ordering supplies and equipment, and working closely with vendors.
- Processing service contracts, including requests for contract review and approval.
- Assisting with the reconciliation of financial reports and working closely with the INI business operations team to resolve any ER audit findings.
- Acting as a liaison for the INI and working closely with FMS and external contractors on building-related issues.
- Managing and providing front desk coverage as needed.
- other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or GED
- 3-5 years of administrative support experience
- Higher education experience preferred, not required
