Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis OverviewWe are looking for Administrative Cash Clerk for our Cash Operations department. Reporting to a Supervisor, you will provide a variety of clerical and office tasks to support financial institutions and currency handling teams.
Responsibilities
- Compile and enter data for weekly and monthly statistical reports.
- Purchase and monitor inventories of supplies and material and balance the monthly procurement card statement.
- Review system totals to department proofs, enters totals into automated systems and resolves out of balance conditions.
- Provide financial institutions and other Federal Reserve offices with information, documentation, and customer support to resolve outstanding questions or problems.
- Review coin terminals, FRB depots and Custodial inventory entities for daily balances and directs each team
- to close end of day properly.
- Reconcile general ledger account balances daily.
- Communicate with the Cash Product Office and US Mint to schedule coin shipments and transfers.
- Assist management in conducting off-site Coin terminal, Cash depot, Strategic inventory and Custodial inventory audits.
- Willingness to assist with other assign duties in Cash operations.
- Help with the daily and weekly transfer of counterfeit notes to the Secret Service.
Qualifications
- High School or equivalent
- 3 years related experience.
- Comfortable working with customers using tact and diplomacy.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word and communicating by email.
- Can work in a team-oriented environment.
Salary: $65,000 - $ 70,000
