About People Rock HR Services:
We are a fun and busy group of HR professionals looking for an Administrative Business Partner to support the HR work we do. We work focused and intentionally to support our amazing clients and this role will be highly valued by offering a hand in working with our consultants on administrative tasks allowing them to provide quality and timely work to our clients.
Position: Administrative Business Partner
Location: Hybrid work location (from a shared office in Folsom), after training, and from home/ remote location
Compensation: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour, depending on experience
Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt
Hours: Full-time; 40 hours per week. Working hours are 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with the opportunity for some flexibility.
Travel: Local travel throughout the greater Sacramento area will be occasionally required.

The Opportunity:
The Administrative Business Partner will be responsible for providing accurate and timely administrative support to the People Rock HR Consulting team, clients and supporting the business operations. An excellent opportunity to demonstrate forward-thinking skills to make an impact every day. Primary responsibilities may include the following:
  • Provide administrative support to the CEO and the People Rock HR team.
  • Prepare various documents and communications, letters, forms, and client communications.
  • Onboard new clients: data entry, welcome communication, order and send necessary documents, and create electronic files.
  • Maintain systems and integrations, CRM, data entry and organization.
  • Customize and prepare presentation decks for internal and external use.
  • Maintain company-wide forms, tools, and documents.
  • Prepare training packages for virtual and live training sessions.
  • Update and format client Employee Handbooks by following protocol.
  • Format and finalize Job Descriptions from client-provided data, apply the People Rock HR protocol and partner with the People Ops. Business partners.
  • Create New Hire Packages and Exit Packages.
  • Facilitate onboarding meetings with client new hires to review New Hire Package and Employee Handbook.
  • Assist with completion of administrative work related to HR Evaluations.
  • Assist with the completion of various client projects.
  • Prepare communications for clients regarding employment changes, trends, and reminders by using research and reference tools.
  • Manage Excel sheets and data to provide and submit accurate and timely data to other parties.
  • Coordinate, set up, and attend various company events, sponsorships, vendor booths, etc.
  • Run errands/place orders for business purposes; Post Office, supplies, client deliveries, meeting set up, etc.
  • Answer phones and return calls or coordinate with others on the team to return calls as appropriate.
  • Partner with vendors for project and task execution.
  • Manage internal programs for recognition, referrals, etc.
  • Develop and maintain internal procedure documents.
  • Apply strategic thinking and assessment to each interaction internally and externally.
  • Contribute to a positive, professional, and fun workplace.
  • Satisfy timelines and attendance requirements.

Minimum requirements for consideration for this role are:
  • 5+ years of experience in an administrative support role (Admin. Assistant, Office Manager, Executive Assistant, Office Administrator, etc.)
  • Experience supporting multiple managers preferred.
  • HR exposure preferred.
  • Demonstrated skills working with Google Workspace, CRM, and Microsoft Suite.
  • Must have a valid California driver’s license.
