POSITION TITLE: Human Resources (HR) Administrative Assistant
WORK DAYS: 230
REPORTS TO: Human Resources Coordinator and Director of Human Resources
FLSA: Non-Exempt
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
1. Educational Level: Four-year degree in HR/Management or related field.
2. Experience: Minimum of one-year of satisfactory HR experience.
3. SHRM certification or specialized HR training.
4. Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills; organization; planning; employee relations; and computer technology skills.
5. Experience with Frontline Education (Recruitment and Hiring, Time and Attendance, and Absence Management).
6. Development and management of webpage.
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Coordinate assigned employment processes and related services provided to applicants, new employees, and current District employees using Frontline, MUNIS and other computer programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prompt and regular attendance.
- Demonstrate excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills; organization; planning; employee relations; and computer technology skills.
- Assist with processing hiring actions and personnel changes to include entry of MUNIS Personnel Actions using data from Frontline Applicant Management System.
- Assist the HR Coordinator in HR's role when processing payroll.
- Enter payroll changes in MUNIS.
- Enter certificate Upgrades in MUNIS.
- Assist in completing the initial and renewal of certificates for certificated employees.
- Assist HR Coordinator in completion of the District's CPI reports.
- Assist in processing, management, and storage of criminal background histories.
- Assist in developing and ensuring that all job descriptions are current.
- Assist in salary administration planning and implementation.
- Maintain accurate information for statistical purposes; use database management software and other tools to produce reports; and generate reports to support HR and District information needs.
- Scan and file documents.
- Responsible for maintaining the HR webpage.
- Maintain HR social media communications.
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding of new employees.
- Perform research as needed.
- Assist with HR process development and improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
