Summary
This position supports the operations of ACS through various tasks and responsibilities related to ID card creation, new group enrollment, renewal maintenance, DBS business maintenance.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- College graduate with studies in Health Administration is a plus
- At least one year of related experience within Member Enrollment, Claims Processing, Medical and/or Dental office Administration, Medical Records, or Medical Assisting preferred but not required.
- TPA experience is a plus
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience with HRIS and enrollment systems
- In-depth knowledge of and ability to apply regulatory compliance rules associated with benefit plans, specifically self-funded plans such as ERISA, HIPAA, PHI Privacy rules, COBRA, etc.
- Ability to communicate clear and concise messages either verbally or by email
- Ability to complete work thoroughly, accurately and timely
- Demonstrates outstanding attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to effectively work with others and apply collaboration skills for positive outcomes

Essential Functions
- New group ID card implementation including creation, auditing, releasing
- Submits ID card samples to clients, vendors, internal associates and brokers (as needed) during implementation or when changes occur
- New group enrollment activities such as creation of client profiles, divisions, CEW, LIN, and plan set up
- Renewal group maintenance
- Client portal management including web support, eligibility e-files, and client presentations
- DBS business maintenance
- COBRA processing
- Importing and exporting of claims files for medical and dental claims
- Auditing of new group enrollment activities
- Other assignments as deemed necessary to support Administration Department
