Job Description: Inventory Control Assistant
Areas of impact:
Delivers job responsibilities following a defined standard output or set procedures. Work consists of tasks that are very routing, or well defined, with specific instructions to achieve standardized solutions.
Problem solving:
Problems and issues faced are routine and solutions are clear. Follows a well-established and familiar set of job activities and/or job processes to solve a problem.
Job duties:
Completes advanced duties associated with vendor returns on a day-to-day basis
Works closely with various departments such as Category Management, HQ Supply Chain, and our blended partners.
Works Closely with our suppliers to receive approvals to return excess goods based on our agreements with our suppliers.
Provides applicable inventory control measures.
Works through Outlook, Teams, Excel, Access, Power BI & other various platforms to solution and communicate solutions for our external customers.
Execute initiatives as assigned.
Adhere to Company compliance and Health Safety and Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and requirements.
Regular and reliable attendance

Prior experience:
Applies basic job knowledge of systems and procedures that are relevant to own job.

Ability to organize and prioritize work
Ability to effectively communicate in writing
Ability to effectively communicate verbally
Ability to efficiently operate computers, tablets and mobile devices.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Power BI, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Access, Word, Etc.).
Ability to effectively utilize FEL's inventory and logistics system (Trilogie)
