Job Responsibilities
There is a need to develop a pool of qualified faculty to cover foundational Allied Health Sciences (AHS) courses for multiple programs of the MTC School of Healthcare. Courses include but are not limited to Medical Terminology, Basic Patient Care, Certified Nursing Assisting, Cardiac Care Technician, Phlebotomy, Computers in Healthcare, Health Careers Preparation, and Law & Ethics. Instructors will prepare, organize and sustain lectures/clinical experiences to diverse student body; Evaluate and monitor student performance and development; Aid students in achieving their academic goals and objectives; Ensure compliance with college policies, guidelines and processes. Reports to the AHS Director. Works with others to ensure student success.

This position is located at the Airport and Beltline Campuses in the School of Health Care.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Associate's or bachelor's degree in a Health Science or Nursing discipline with demonstrated competencies in the respective teaching area.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree with prior higher education teaching experience. A minimum of four (4) years of professional experience with two (2) years in higher education and or administration. Preference given to individuals available during day time hours and able to offer in-person instruction.
