Part-time instructor needed to teach a Surveying class for our Construction Management program.
Essential Job FunctionsWill need to cover theory and terminology associated with the profession of land surveying, incorporating basic principles and field procedures with traditional and more modern surveying equipment. Hands-on fieldwork is an essential component of the class.
Must be able to relate surveying data to architectural and engineering design. Will need to cover the duties and skills of a surveyor.
Qualifications include hands-on surveying experience working in a surveying/civil engineering firm. AAS degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Surveying, or equivalent experience desired. Prior teaching experience is preferred.
Pay is commensurate with experience.
