JOB SUMMARY Langston University is seeking an adjunct Instructor toprovide a quality learning experience for studentsin the Bachelor of Science in PublicHealth Program. This position reports to theAcademic Department chair andperform instruction-related duties and responsibilities in a timelymanner and in accordance with the mission, policies, and procedures of the college.The successful candidate will hold amaster's degree in public/community healthand have demonstrated a passion for teaching.Faculty members are expected to fulfill the responsibilities of teaching,scholarship, and service to the University. The faculty member will teach 3-6 hours per semester in lower andupper division Public Health courses. Preference will be given to applicants with doctoral credentials. Perform other job duties as assignedby the dean or Public Health director.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide classroom instruction. Classroom:
Teach assigned courses
Participate in curriculum implementation and evaluation
Serve as professional role model
PRINCIPAL CONTACTS: Enrolled public heath students
