Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Teach sophomore-level genetics course, lecture and laboratoryTeach the principles, mechanisms and methodologies of classical and molecular geneticsDirect laboratory activities to promote genetics learningDevelop a syllabus outlining the topics, activities, and assessments for the courseAssess student learning using a variety of assessment strategiesMaintain a learning management system site (eClass) for the courseDocument student attendance and gradesSubmit mid-term and final grades to the registrar
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in biology or related fieldSpecific experience in the area of geneticsPrevious teaching experience is preferred
