This face-to-face instruction occurs within their semester time frame (15-16 weeks) or via an accelerated format (2-3 weeks) for the next four academic years. The current need is for Spring 2024 with similar options each semester for the foreseeable future.
Currently, Concordia University, Irvine has faculty teaching on the ZFC campus on a full-time basis. Instructors visiting China will join this faculty in teaching courses to ZFC students.
Concordia University, Irvine is currently looking for professors to teach for this Spring, 2024 (May intensive) and subsequent semesters in either the long (15 – 16 week) format or accelerated (2-3 week) format starting in the Fall, 2024.
Dates:
- May 13 – May 24th for Accelerated courses (Accounting course taught in intensive format over 2 weeks) – Managerial Accounting
- September, 2024 – December, 2024 for Semester courses (estimated)
- May 13 – May 24th for Accelerated courses (Accounting course taught in intensive format over 2 weeks) – Managerial Accounting

- Instruct two or three sections of ECONOMICS 201, FINANCE 331, ACCOUNTING 211, ACCOUNTING 212
- Complete and report student grades or assessments to CUI - Assess student mastery, assign grades and report to CUI
- Represent CUI to the students, staff, and faculty at the Chinese partner institution
- Frequently communicate with Concordia University administration, faculty, and staff to service the dual degree program students
- MA or MS in Economics, Accounting, Finance or similar educational credentials
- 3 years of experience teaching subject to College or High School students
- Classes taught in English or Mandarin; Mandarin is not required but helpful

Travel to China and any related expenses (documents, transportation, meals in transit etc.) will be paid for by CUI. ZFC will provide a one bedroom or shared apartment (same gender, private bedroom), and lunch on campus.
There is an opportunity to arrive before class or stay after to enjoy tourism while staying in the ZFC provided apartment.
