This is a general interest post for all Adjunct and part-time instructor positions available at the College of Eastern Idaho. The following summaries provide an idea of each type of instructor position available.
Adjunct
Provides instruction to post-secondary students in assigned content area, both technical and general education for-credit classes and other related activities. Currently hiring for all disciplines/fields.
College and Career Readiness Part-time Instructor
This position works as part of the College and Career Readiness team to provide basic skills instruction to students in preparation for GED and/or college entrance in the following subjects; language arts, math, science and social studies, and ESL.
WTCE Part-time Instructor
Workforce Training & Continuing Education (WTCE) Instructors are generally considered Subject Matter Experts (SME) in their particular field of expertise. WTCE instructors are required to provide high quality instruction for predominantly adult learners in the East Idaho community. Instructor work hours are based upon an as-needed schedule
Adjunct and CCR Part-time Instructors

This post is for all part-time and adjunct instructor positions at the college. Minimum qualifications will vary by position but departments generally require the following:
- Incumbent must reside in Idaho (Currently CEI doesn’t sponsor H-1B Visas)

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but not, necessarily, occasional temperature changes. The employee is regularly required to sit and often uses repetitive hand motions.
Onsight work may be essential with regular predictable attendance.
Background Investigations:
Employment at College of Eastern Idaho will be contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background investigation and may require a credit and/or motor vehicle background investigation depending on the position. Please refer to Policy 225: Background Checks
