Responsibilities:
- Assist with planning and facilitating a diverse range of recreational, social, and therapeutic activities for residents of varying abilities and interests.
- Engage residents in interactive programs, outings, and special events that promote physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being.
- Encourage and support resident participation in activities, while respecting individual preferences and capabilities
- Collaborate with the activities team to develop and implement creative and innovative programming.
- Maintain accurate records of activity participation and resident feedback.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment that celebrates the unique backgrounds and experiences of our residents.
- Contribute to creating a vibrant and joyful community within our healthcare setting.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in recreational therapy, activities coordination, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative and adaptable approach to planning and implementing activities.
- Compassionate and patient-centered outlook with a genuine passion for enriching the lives of seniors.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
