Founder's House of Hope is a assisted living facility for the adult community located in Artesia, CA (Near Cerritos). We are currently seeking an energetic, friendly and creative Activities Assistant to join our assisted living team. Please submit your resume today!
Qualifications (non-negotiable):
- Able to clear DOJ FBI live scan criminal background clearance mandated by licensing
- Able to pass pre employment physical and TB test clearance
- High school diploma or GED required
- Flexible scheduling. Position may include weekends and holidays
- Activities coordinator experience preferred.
Job Description:
- Designs, develops and conducts activities program provided on a daily basis and modifies existing programs as necessary
- Develops and maintains a positive relationship with residents
- Develops and maintains a volunteer program
- Designs and arranges outside contracted entertainment
- Designs and arranges recurring events such as monthly calendars, newsletters, and themed facility events
- Develops, manages and coordinates activities outings
- Conduct room visits and actively participate in client council meetings
- Additional duties assigned by Administrator
