Salary- Coordinate and plan recreation activities; reality orientation, current events, discussion groups, re-motivation therapy, sensory stimulation, cultural activities, religious services, special entertainment, outings, special events, and on-on-one visits, as required.
- Plan and teach crafts, exercise and other classes as scheduled.
- Conduct one on one activities with the residents as required.
- Update and maintain Daily Activity Attendance Binder.
- Escort residents to and from activity programs as needed.
- Document tasks performed, follow established standards for charting accurately, timely, completely, and legibly.
- Facilitate meetings such as Residents Council Meeting, i.e. assist with moving walkers, assist residents to open seating, ensure room temperature is comfortable and residents are able to hear the speakers, provide refreshments as required and take meeting notes.
- Assist with delivering food trays during meal times and assist residents to and from dining room.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
