Your Role:

As an Activities Director – you're a champion, a mentor, and a friend. You'll bring joy, comfort, and empowerment to our members' lives. You'll lead exciting activities, share laughter over meals, and provide attentive care. Your work here isn't just a job; it's about creating a vibrant, fulfilling environment where every day is a journey towards new achievements.

What You'll Do:

• Plan, organize, and execute a diverse range of activities tailored to the interests and abilities of our senior members.
• Collaborate with other staff members to integrate activities with overall care plans.
• Engage with members to understand their interests and feedback, using this to continuously improve the activities program.
• Coordinate with external vendors and entertainers for special events.
• Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all activities.
• Manage activity-related budgets and resources.
• Document and report on the progress of activities and member participation.

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in activity planning, preferably in a senior care setting.
• You have a talent for communication, connection, and empathy.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A compassionate and patient approach to working with seniors.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• A degree in recreation therapy, gerontology, or a related field is preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certifications are desirable.

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
